As the restrictions got more and more extensive due to the pandemic, the supporters of different sports were left frustrated. Watching their favorite team on television instead of celebrating a stunning goal in a crowd of comrades was incomparable. The clubs themselves lost a massive amount of revenue, meanwhile many supporters lost interest in the games, wishing time could go faster.

Our solution

Together with Audi Denmark and Facebook, we embarked on a mission to create a truly unique experience through 360 VR live streaming for the supporters of FC Copenhagen. The aim was never to replace the physical visit to the arena but rather give back that great feeling of being in the stands once again.

A few lucky supporters had the chance of winning an Oculus Quest 2, including a live-streamed virtual experience of FC Copenhagen’s clash with Nordsjælland at Parken.

When putting on the headset, the supporters were transported right back where they left off before the pandemic – in the best seat of the whole arena, right in front of the action.
